my tracker runs great & looks good too, the guy who had it b4 me took fantastic care of it, so many new parts....

Radiator & hoses
water pump
timing belt
ecm
clutch & cable
regular tune ups
Replaces various sensors
Repaired all oil leaks, my tracker doesn't leak anything, which is so unusual for this car, no smoking or burning oil either.

What it needs
AC clutch
Front & rear shocks

i love my 1990 tracker 8v 3spd automatic i get 25-29 mpg normally and 19+ on the trails in 4 low! not the best to look at but its an inexpensive rig and great daily driver it has its bugs and lacks some power but nothing i am scared to tackle myself. alot of jeep guys are surprised when they can't lose me on the trail!

I have 2, a 1992 Geo Tracker 2 door 5 speed, 4wd soft top with 270,000kms. I have driven this for 10 years. the only problem I have had with this was I had to buy a intake temp censer.
But I have replaced front and rear shocks, Plugs, wires, rotor, cap
Clutch, timing belt,Front crank seal, and the exhaust. (all over time)
Currently laid up until I get some ball joints, tie rod ends and a paint job(probably until next year).

I have just bought a 1997 4 door Geo Tracker, 5 speed, 4wd with 190,000kms.
I got this puppy real cheap.
Had to put a rear differential in it. Plugs, wires, rotor and cap.
I get 27mpg American, 32mpg Canadian (U.K.), and 11.56 Kilometers Per Liter, roughly with this baby.

I love it

I actually don't know. There are no markings on it from what I can see.
Its kind of an odd ball. The color was not mt first choice, in the rain it kind of looks pinkish. It originally came off a dark green 95. Lets say I got it for a good price.

96 tracker, 140,000 miles,
Just swapped an engine into a better body.
Runs great that engine started every day last winter, sitting outside in MN.

well mine is 1993 lsi tracker, 8 valv. 1.6, 5 sp., 4x4. It was running good till had to do a cranckshaft work so did the overhaul. It runs good for every day ride to work and even better for heavy works in my farm. Whant to get a hard top but here in Panama is hard to get it. There are some tracker around the city and most of them are in good conditions, sometimes have to get to Costa Rica to get the parts or wait for a couple of days and pay some s&h to get it from the us. There are no tracker/sidekik on the junk yards around.

'90 Geo Tracker and love it. Just replaced all brakes pads and shoes, customized center dash section, added a new Stereo with MP3 and Bluetooth for my cell phone and a new custom rear rack I made from a rack made for a Jeep. My CEL doesn't work but I'll tackle that soon as the temperatures drop here in Arizona. I noticed the prior owner removed several wires under the hood including the ones going to the TPS..
Still runs pretty good though. I'll post more pics after I give it a bath. I when 4X4 ing yesterday and gave it a good workout in deep sand and steep hills
