Default How's your Tracker/Kick ?

just trying to find out how many of these are still on the road and how they are doing

16 valve i think runs good for 180000miles 5spd some smoke on start up and some ideling problems besides that it runs good. but it's years are limited due to rust and i'm hoping to hit the 200k mark before it dies

I hope not i really like my 5sp my 27mpg convertable 4x4 manual locking hubs powerless windows no power steering and i like the fact that it's a lever to put into 4x4 not a button and i know no other vehicle can replace this

Mine's running great, '91 with 100k miles, 4wd, 5spd, soft top, manual hubs, no power steering, and a 2 inch suspension lift. Luxury feature is A/C, and I splurged and put a new top on it this year. Mileage is about 25 mpg. No rust as its from the west, TX, AZ, CA, and now NV.

Its running a set of Cragar Soft 8 wheels in 15x7 size and 30x9.5/15 Dakota Definity MT tires from pepboys.

I've got a 1995 1.6 16 valve, 3 spd automatic, and i average 23 city and 28/30 on the highway. I have taken off the blue stripe, so it looks a lot sharper now. unfortunatley after some heavy storms, i now have a lot of scratches on it becuase of falling branches (I have no room for the car in my garage, so i will soon by a car cover) so ill probably get a new paintjob soon. Its my black beauty, its a 4x4 with manuel hubs and it has 103000 miles on it

92 tracker, 1.6l, 8v,4x4,5speed. Everything is running great with 240,000 kms. 4 wheel works great (which I use all winter, I live in Canada) I use it as my primary vehicle for my small delivery service. I just put in a new clutch, full tune-up, and brakes. This vehicle works hard as it is all stop and start downtown. It still does not burn any oil between oil changes, and is very reliable. The amazing thing is that through 17 canadian winters, it shows no signs of rust. But I do wash it frequently, and change oil faithfully. I see no reason why another 240,000 isnt possible.

i need a soft top two i'm going to college so i have to hold out for another two years if it's still worth it, it already has 13 years on it but one of these days the side windows are going to blow off because they unsewn themselves from the plastic strip that holds them in place same thing with the bottom of the rear window. A new soft top and a full tank of gas will probably double the value of the car (I'll never sell It)

mine burns about a half a quart between oil changes 3,000mi
