I have the 2-door tracker 4x soft-top and I went for the 2 inch spacer kit - from the ebay guy. He sells the shorter kit on ebay, but contact him for the 2 inch kit. It includes 2inch spacers for the rear and 1.5 inch for the front. I think they were ~$90 shipped (great service). Installation was very straight forward. For the rear, I replaced the worn oem shocks with monroe sensa tracs for a 1990 Crown Vic 4-door sedan (rear). I replaced the front struts with new sensa tracs (std 1991 tracker) and added a spacer kit from lowrangeoffroad.com (also great service). Followed that up with a camber/alignment adjust for the front end. With new shocks on both ends it rides really nice. Not cheap but worth it. The 2" rear and 1.5" front spacers left the tracker setting very close to level.
I've heard that anything over 2 inches will require replacing the front axles hangers -else the CV's are at too sharp an angle and will wear very fast. So I stayed with the 2 inch kt.
Still need to add a set of aggressive off road tires and maybe some black off road wheels (cragar soft 8s) but I haven't decided if I want 235-75x15 or 30x9.5 x15. If I go for the 30's, I'll prolly add the 2 inch body lift and a set of rock sliders.
Local salvage yard sells axles for about $75 -so I was planning on picking up a stocker and welding the diff to make it locked full time. Much cheaper than a Lock-Rite ($300) or an ARB ($800).

Plus, I can swap the original open diff back under the truck if I get tired of being locked.
Its a work in progress. But the little beast is very reliable and still delivers ~27 mpg.
