Default Where does it go? Does it even go?

I have searched the forum and was not able to pin point the location, if there is one, where a code reader would go on a '94 Tracker (US).

The check engine light came on, checked the obvious, oil, antifreeze, gas cap and nothing seemed unusual.

Going to hit the zone after work, but would like to know in advance if a code reader can be hooked up to it, if so where? Better to ask here than watch a zone employee fumble around for 1/2 hour only to tell me "i don't know". God bless the zone employee's they sure try.

no readers, just use a paper clip.
see my blink page.

in my sig

94 DOES NOT HAVE OBD2 ECU.

how ever the dealer has one , its just a $4000 scanner. that's all.

AZ guy prob. never seen a 94 , he was just a kid then.

no one mentioned it yet but your vehicle more than likely set for CEL to come on at specific time like every 20,000 mi its a maintanence reminder(20, 40, 60, 80, 100). on my 92 its what it does.the switch is under dash as stated on Jerrys page

Yes, agree with Raygu, check for that stupid reminder switch, often hard to get at and hard to see, kind of in behind left speaker. It's a slide switch, slide to other side, then key on again, if CEL is off, that's all it was. Otherwise, if it is a true CEL problem, then you have some work to do, follow JTGH's home page instructions. Good luck!

I put a jumper wire on 2 & 3, counted the flashes and got a 15 (coolant system). Found a broken wire on the thermostat. I must have leaned on it when I changed out the PVC valve. Put a new eye on the wire, all is well.

Thanks for all your help guys!
