Exclamation Troublesome Code 51

I attempted some repairs and cleared my codes but continue to receive Code 51:

EGR System & REGT Sensor Circuit

I have the 1.6L 16 valve model mfg. in 01/94. I have removed the EGR valve and thoroughly tested/cleaned it. I have cleaned the passageways and the steel tube running down the intake manifold with some heavy duty ChemTool carb and choke cleaner (2 xlarge cans). I have checked all vacuum lines for leaks and initially found a disconnected hose, connected it to the only port that didn't have a hose which was on a solenoid. Also something strange... there are 2 solenoids connected with various vacuum lines going to and from the EGR valve, modulator and intake manifold but neither of these solenoids have wires!!! They have dummy connectors on them but I am unable to find wires loose hanging or otherwise hidden anywhere near that might need to be hooked up! Please can anyone give me some more insight to this horrible code 51?!?!

Thanks,
Nate

Oh and btw these solenoids I'm mentioning are not the ones on the front of the motor, they are near the firewall just above the EGR and in-line with the modulator, I cannot see them in the vacuum diagram listed for my year and engine:

If these solenoids are mounted on the front of the intake plenum, (on my 95) one is for the EVAP system and the other for EGR. There should be 2 wires to each. Also, did you clean the EGR tube intake hole into the plenum?

youve been hacked, by someone who knows nothing of the EGR or EVAP circuits.

here is your map.

http://carfix.stufftoread.com/sensors/93-mpi-smog1.JPG

the right side VSV is EGR, the left is EVAP.

i have 10 drawings on this car, above is the best one.

I hope your PO didnt cut the wires, and the connectors are impossible to get save the wrecker ( 92-95 will work 16v)

Your MPG will get better when it is fixed correctly. minus 51 code.

with out the wires are vacuum ,the EGR is INOP.

My ECU is bad now what?
