Default Decal stuff

I took off the side decals on my tracker but there is still some glue residue, what would be the best way to get that stuff off? Thanks

Phil

Really, I wish I knew that before we bought our big bottle, oh well.
I looked up the MSDS on "goof Off" it is 80% xylene, 20% Ethyl Benzine and a couple other things I also can't pronounce like Tolune and Diethylene Glycol Monomethyl Ether.

"Goo Gone" is "Proprietary Mixture" That sounds safe...

Try some rubbing alcohol i you don't have goo gone. Goo gone is just alcohol and a little mineral oil if nothing else works try paint thinner or gas.

Lacquer thinner will take off the goo but watch how hard you rub, it can take the paint off too.

I took the decals off mine and cleaned the areas. Even after cleaning, from an angle I could see the outline of the decals. I figured that the decals had been applied at the factory before the clearcoat was sprayed on. I hated the " colorful" Tracker decals and that is why I removed them. I ended up buying 3 black 4X4 decals and put them over the area where the OEM decals were.

Heat gun-Milwaukee makes one or a womans hair dryer. Carburetor cleaner takes care of the residue/won't harm paint w/ any depth.
