Default Flooded Tracker!

If any of you live in the Northeast you know we are having a Nor'Easter in freaking May!
Anyway I got in the tracker this morning & the entire driver side floor was soaked, the seats were dry, under the seats were dry too, in fact everything else is dry, @ first I thought it was the heater core, but I have heat & it does not smell like Anti freeze, although the Anti freeze is new, anyway the water is just located on the driverside floor. Now I've had this Tracker for awhile never had this happen b4, there is no body rot or under carriage rot.
What could have caused such a thing? the only thing I can think of is a clogged rain qutter? were would this be, i'm 90% positive it was like this when I started driving this morning, I notcied the water when I felt it sloshing around when I drove down the block, Also I had not used the Tracker since this past wenesday & we had all that rain on Friday too so i'm just wondering if this was collecting since than.
Any sugguestions?

I would check the pipe that delivers water to the rear window washer.

Windshield or air vent leaks perhaps? On my 95, the vents are always open unless the lever is on re-circulate.

Thought I would give this a bump, we had another bad Nor' Easter this week & I had the same prolbem, But than I set the vent to recirculate & set the front defogger to the on postion & it seemed to stop.

I won't know for sure until the next storm.

i had that all apart and my brain wants to forget, dang'

i think the heater duct blower motor top, forms a "coffer dam" in the cowl.
to see this effect look in any toilet tank, see pipe in center?

that cowl is the air collection chamber below the windshield and hides the wiper bits.
the heater duct rise into this area , it must not ever flood here.
now, how does that happen?

I think (IIRC) that each side of said cowl is free flooding to the fenders insides. (drains)
i had the plastic shroud off mine, cuz it will filled top to bottom with leaves. (PO's)

if that floods the REcirc damper, then blocks this riser tube, slowing in ingress of H2o

Clean cowl and side drains. Problemo, solv'ed.
there is trick for the plasitc rivets. (push in and they pop out? on cowl top plastic)

this is all one type of failure there are may other rust thru fails.
