Default HELP! sidekick 4 door vibration and noise!

my kick has been running fine since i got it up until halfway through this past winter, i started to get a pretty heavy vibration when i accelerated past second gear and then it would go away when i let off the gas, it also would make a funny noise at this point. Now the other day i was driving home from school and i was coming out of the school parking lot and i heard a loud clunk and then something hitting the underside of the car, and it sounded like it was definetly something rotating so i immediately pulled over and looked under the car but i could not find anything broken and there was no oil or fluid anywhere. Any ideas on what this could be? i am going to put it up on a friends lift to take a closer look on Wednesday but i would like some ideas on where to start.

thanks,

Ben.

thanks for the quick reply. I am running it in 2wd at the moment, the internals aren't even in the hubs for the 4wd right now due to a bad clutch spring. In the winter when i had the clutches in the hubs and was able to use 4wd when i put it into 4wd the vibration would almost disappear.

a vibration.

can it be made to stop by throwing car in neutral or just floated the gas.
floating = neither accel or deaccel.
can it be made to come or go by radical de-accel?
down shift , pop foot off gas ,down hill?

most U joints andCV will make lots of noise under a heave load.

floating throttle , cures noise.?

I dont believe it is front wheel bearings. as they are unloaded.

just wiggle the rear drive prop shaft.

that is my thoughts.

good evening.
