sorry, just making CARBI jokes, they are rare here. ( and Fair game? no? )
these carbe's died in 89.
really , the best thing for any carb is:
take it off,
strip it of all rubber, plastic , all non metal must be removed. do not remove butterfly plates.
buy a kit (full) {Step one really }
boil it out (this is a chemical hot tank cleaning process) Chem: Gunk, Bendix,or Raychem, or....
soak for 1hr or 24hr, if weak like our EPA kind here.
clean with hot soap and water, wear chem gloves. near the chem.
brush out all passageway the blast them with air. ( special tiny bottle bushes)
install the new parts from kit.
reassemble and set flow level and all that it says in rebuild kit.
put back carb on car, adjust to factory spec . idle, choke unloaderr, etc.
if done hundereds of carbs, It is only a bad dream , today.
the week long stink of gunk on hands, woman running way...... no more....
if this is too much, then find an old guy , some old carbi guy that can fiddle (play with the bits) the carb.
you need to tell us what it is doing correct and wrong, this carbi.??
how does it run hot and cold ?, loaded or just idling ?and what about cold? and fast idle.?
it is complex this device.
I hope this helps.
PS your English is better than my Yiddish , I am sure. Best of luck.
