HD clutches actuators are self adjusting. (some have 1 time install ajustment)
but you do not adjust them like the mechanical type as clutch wears.

Either end or both can be bad.
MC or slave.

here this is what to do.
1st look behind MC clutch unit, is it dripping fluid, yes, well its bad, if not maybe good.
2nd, is slave dripping fluid, well it is bad.

next is live test.
while looking at the clutch slave push rod ( I hope you can see it) have some one
depress the clutch real slow and make sure it is 100% proportional.

proportional means, if i push clutch pedel 1 inch , i get 1/6 inch at slave.
see, and when pedal is at bottom ,so is slave.

it is a very simple device.

one can also take it all apart and inspect ever inch of the parts inside and out for any corrosion and on any found , replace them.
this is what I do. A full inspection, because I dont want to come back to this next week.
see, doing the job right, ends the problem.
