What did you have to do Paul, just connect the 2 wires?

the metric adaptor kit that i ordered with my sunpro gauge didn't have the right fitting or nipple the journal passenges that are on the block were to close to get both the tubing and sending unit in at the same time so i figured that either way i was going to have to put the sending unit back in in order for the CEL to go off. I took the adaptor and recut some threads on it with my trusty tool and die set and it fit so thank God.

that is not A CEL lamp (sorry), it is just the OIL pressure Idiot lamp, nothing more that a single little lamp. it is harmless.
in fact you can buy a fancy Oil pressure gauge that has limits in it and will flash at you when the limits are breached ( too hi and too low can be set on some)

the wire to the idiot lamp just safe it off,( put heat shrink over end and shrink it)
or have both sendors wired in , to a 2 to one "T" fitting on the block.

Cool how the adaptors never fit. (not)

did you find out if the block fitting is METRIC or USA NPT? , we'd all like to know.

if you dont know, I will unscrew mine and put my Thread guage on it.
if you have a problem, tell us.
this is easy stuff, 1 wire circuits.
cheers

there are two threaded journals in the block the one that the sending unit fits in is metric the one that you have to take out with a allen wrench is standard or is it vise\versa? anyhow the one i had to cut new threads on was standard 3/8th i think.
