The 89-94 have four bolts and the seat belt latch is bolted under the center console, 95-98 have five bolt holes and the seat belt latch is mounted on the seat, The back seats are the same!
But I changed mine from a 94 into my 96 I bolted them to the four bolt holes they lined up with and I heated and straighten the metal part on the latches from the 94 and the extra bolt hole you will have in the back where the 5th bolt was mount the latches there, If needed I can get pictures tomarrow!
By the way I checked and its still safe with the way I mounted mine, Like I said let me know if you need pictures! Good luck!

I would appreciate pics.Let em see if I can explain what I saw different. Most noticeable to me was the mounts at the rear inside. In my tracker these come straight out(horizontal). The bolt simply goes through the track and bolts to a small shelf that extends from the floor hump.On the replacements it looked like the rear inside bolt hole is in a vertical tab,as if it would mount against the floor hump instead of resting on a shelf.I hope that makes sense.Ill try and offer up some pics of mine also.
Now I have the pictures what I done is took seats out of a 94 and put them into a 96 what you are doing is putting seats out of a 96 into a 93 right? If so then you would not have a 5th bolt hole in your 93 you would have to drill one out.
As you can see the seats I put in are mounted in the orignal mounting holes I've took pictures of each one and I have showed you how I made the belt latch mount into the extra hole.
The 6th picture is from the passenger side the rest of them are pictures of the drivers side. I hope they help!
EDIT: Please don't look at the mess in my Tracker it really needs cleaned!
