Vitara or Sidekick?

Hi everyone I'm new here and need for some advise please. I was looking on buying either a Sidekick or Vitara. If anyone could help me out I would like to know if there is a big difference between the two other than looks. I would be using it off road quite a bit and would prefer the better of the two to take off road. Also would like to know if there is a big difference in MPG between the two. Any help would be appreciated.

They are essentially the same car, just different badges. There may be slight differences here and there but the chassis is pretty much identical. Great little things to use out on a fourby trek.

The X-90 for instance is a Vitara chassis with a different body, hope this helps.

Thanks. It sound like I'll do OK if either of the 2. My problem now is finding a sidekick in good condition or an older vitara that is also in good condition. I've been looking but nothing has turned out. These things are tough to find where I live. Thanks again and any other input from others is still welcome.

O one more thing I'm having trouble finding what MPG people are getting with a V6 Vitara get? So if anyone would like to share their MPG feel free.
