Default Rotted frame

Hey guys, This is my first Suzuki and I love it. I just bought it off E-Bay to use as a DD.
It is a 1994 Sidekick 4wd 4door JX, one owner with 48,000 original miles.
From reading your posts I will be changing the Tbelt and tensioner pulley as soon as I square away my major problem.....
Does anyone know where to purchase a patch kit ,pre-bent frame sections, or even a whole frame?
It seems they forgot to list the frame rot in the auction.
I know it will be alot of work but when I heard this thing PRRRR, shifted that smooth 5 speed I just have to keep this truck.....
Thanks, Al

The Suzuki parts guide lists the Frame Ass as Part# 57000-57b50 and is$2647.39. It is not listed in sections.

You might go to a junkyard and buy a whole frame or they might just sell you the peice you need, Most of the time they don't want to cut into a good frame but if you buy the whole frame from a junkyard it would still be cheaper then $2700!

The Nashville Pull-a-Part Pull-A-Part lists a bare frame for $115. You might find one locally at a comparable price. I did see a rolling frame on Ebay the other day, with an engine for $200.

See if you can pick up the entire frame, preferably from a tracker out of the south or from out west. Seems expensive, but its amazing sometimes how things work out.

My '91 Tracker is rust free, having spent its entire life in TX, AZ, CA, and now NV.

In the hot and dry deserts, the plastics and rubber will dry out, crack and rot away, but the steel lasts and lasts.
