Default Calmini Exhaust

Hello everyone, I'm Mark... New to these forums...

I drive a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick JLX Sport 1.8L 16v 4dr 4x4 AT

My muffler needs to be replaced and manifold needs welding, as you might already know the muffler for this model can only be ordered from Suzuki as a catback assembly for $400+

I was looking at the Calmini full catback + header combination, but after calling them they said it was for the 1.6L engine, just wondering if it works with the 1.8L or not, or would at least the cat-back portion work, and the universal cat. converter?

The parts I am speaking of are on "puresuzuki.com" ... Part #s: SK1610 (catback & header) and U94004 (cat. converter)

Thanks for any help or recommendations on other brands of performance exhaust available.

I installed on my first tracker and just ordered for my current tracker. I choose the full system with the header because my exhausts manifolds were both poor condition. I saw a noticable improvement in mileage on my first tracker hope it hold true for current one.

FYI summit has a better deal on a hi flow cats and its half what Calmini is asking.

What engine do you have in your tracker? 1.6 or 1.8 ? 8v or 16v ?
