Default plastic rocker panels

how in the heck do you get these things off without breaking them? it looks like clips but could be screws? i need to address some rust issues down there
any help is appreciated,,,,

I too am having some rust issues behind this plastic piece.. honestly i just ripped mine off. Most of the time in the body shop we just glue them back on, the plastic piece i mean.
Getting ready to cut out the rust and re-weld new rockers so i wont get more water in my tracker... If you happen to tackle this project before me please take pictures!

On mine there was square clips with a piece in the middle you had to pop up to pull them out, I just ripped them off tho and glued them back on
