Thanks JTGH for the link, your the man! I would have never got this thing running without your help. My Haynes manual is about worthless, it says to line the timing marks up with # 1 on TDC and says nothing about #4 being on TDC compression stroke, not to mention it is unclear on which one of the two time marks to use, junk. I lined everything up with # 1 on TDC compression and the engine was acting very tricky, not knowing. I read your link and it noted # 4 should be on a compression stroke when all the timing marks were alined. I went out right away and set everything how it should be. The first time I hit the key the engine went vrerrooomrooomm!!!
