Buy new gear and pulleys, they're cheap new.

Besides this is a weak point for Trackers.

already done placed the order a few minutes ago although, I am not looking forward to taking it all back apart. I think I need to loosen all of the lash settings to properly tension the belt....

Hi Ranger I am just waiting on the gears to arrive, they shipped on friday. I also picked up the crank seal yesterday and installed it.

Default Crank pulley is different

Parts are here and i noticed the crank pulley has a disk with six teeth on the back of the casting. When torqued, it will not turn, the teeth on the back disk are catching on the block timing mark. Otherwise the gear is identical same number of belt teeth and same diameter. Can I just cut them off? Let me know if I need to post a pic I am an early riser and did not feel like breaking out the camera this evening. the crank part number is 12630-57b01

looks like 1.8L COP Distributer Less system. No DIZZY
and that is the Crank Postion sensor or Crank Angle sensor stobe pieces.

your parts are 1995 16v
bottom: 12631-53b00
top: 12741-53b01

yours 57b01 = 96 to 98 year.
sorry
