Default No indicator light(fuse blow)

I have Suzuki escudo 1990 16V

problem

My indicator light (Left and right) stop working. I looked at the fuse(indicators) and it was blew. So i replaced it with a new one and started the engine. The indicator lights seemed working. When i tried to drive (put my foot on the accelerator)the fuse blow off and the indicator lights stop. I tried that a few time it happened the same.

The problem occurred when i turned right with the indicator (RH) on.

Any tutorial please

i guess you are talking Blinkers , winkers or turn signal indicators.

the fuse is telling you , you have short circuit on the RH blinker light power feed.
great description.

#1 cause, trailer lights wires at rear , badly done.

look for damaged front and rear light housing and on back side.
pull out each light and make sure lamp is good and not broken and melted at the filiments. look at all wires going into each lamp.

look of trailer hitch or hitch light evidence of light wiring.
if you have no use for what they have for hitch and it looks poor, then restore it to factory config.

there is a hidden plug behind left tail light for trailer connections, look there for hack wiring of trailer wiring. ( they didnt use OEM trailer kit)..

if that is not it ,it is something else.

bad flasher, bad emergancy flasher, bad random wiring for same .
there could be collision damage that mangled the cars lighting system.

that is all the common places.

hope this helps.

cheers

Default Problem Found

I took it to auto-Electric and the problem turn out to be a reverse gear that make the fuse blow.He disconnected the reverse wire/switch and the fuse stop blowing. The is a short in a loom wire which goes by engine to the body.He didn't
finish the work because he had asked me to leave the car for a few hours. It was too hot to tough the loom wire for the engine was hot.
I don't want to take it to auto-Electric again. Charged me for $70 for 45 minutes.
How would i examine the loom wire?

Cheers

sounds like the reverse lamps are sorted.

i will send schematic later. $100 an hour , like a Lawyer.

me neither.

back from shopping.

you didnt say what tranny you have , 5sp, 4sp auto or 3 sp auto.
1990 16v.

things to check, pull both rear tale lamp lenses.
examine the backup lamps for damage the red wires to same.
look for someone wiring in a trailer hitch and connecting to the backup lamp red wire circiut under bumper.
then follow wire to inside body, it changes to Brown red wire, then back to RED just before tranny switch.
between these 3 points you will find the red wire gounding out.
is there old collision damage to the lamp, pull tail lamps to discover this.

this is a very simple circuit.
see next post.
