some years of kick aready have the full front axle 4wd , complete.
just missing : transfer case and special 4wd transmission.
front hubs, just pop off 2wd hub cap , throw on locking hubs.

that is what I have heard, but not personal experience.

look under front end and say what you have.

I converted a 95 auto 2wd to 5sp 4wd, pretty basic. The doner car was a 89 and the only real challenge was the front diff bracket that had to be cut off the doner frame and welded to the 95. The gear ratios were different so I had to swap the rear diff also. The 89 didn't have the anti-lock brakes so my brake idiot light stays on all the time now, (the anti-lockers had a speed pickup on the rear diff which isn't on the 89s diff).

thanks slacker. i thought it would be as straight forward as it is with any 2wd to 4wd conversion (be it XJ cherokee or a samurai or a track/kick)
