I searched long and hard for a j20a when I was looking to power up my zook, couldn't find one but ended up turbocharging the stock g16b engine.

Let me know if you end up doing it, here is my progress on cardomain.

Default Swop G16B for a J20A

Hi deardsy,

I understand that the J20A is a complete different engine then the G16B, but did you find out if it's possible to swop the complete engine?

Kind Regards
Meindert Hoving

Sorry mate, no I didn't end up checking.

Best bet is to just stick with what you've got as I imagine all the motors are decent even before you start to fettle with it.

Hi, one of the guys living down the street from me has put a turbo on a 96 v16 tracker and claims it cost $5000. to get it up and runing properly. he claims that the actual turbo was quite cheap but all the little things added up such as new ecu because it didn't recognise after market cam, new custom pistons, new rods, ect.

I really don't like this guy so I didn,t get a whole lot more info, but at one time I was also consedering a turbo for my tracker. Hope this info helps you out
