OK, my (former) '89 Sidekick has been lifted 6" and sports 33's!!!

Here's what it looked like last fall.

removed doors, bumpers, back window, cut front fenders for wheels.

I am hating that I sold it now. The guy made his own lift kit so now I want to get another Kick or Tracker and have him lift it. I have feelers out on a '93 Tracker that has no motor but the body's in good shape.

lOOKS LIKE YOU'RE HAVING A BLAST IN THAT PIC!

How difficult was it to take the dorrs off? do they go back on without a prolbem?

I wanna make my doors removeable & put the biggest tires on that i can find with out doing a lift.

I always liked how 31's looked on a body lifted jeep/tracker/s10 blazer they leave aot of roon inbewteen the tires & wheel wells making it look like a mini monster truck

From what I understand, the doors just came right off, but I don't know if he's going to put them back on or not. I no longer own it so I don't get a say in the matter.

one reason that i have always preferred the sami over the track/kick is the ability to remove doors. so i am interested in the ease of door removal,

and ease of re-install.....i guess that 2nd part is important - because i want to be able to take them off and on

I agree the Kicks has outside hinges, when my current Tracker has out lived its usefulness I will get a kick.

Sidekicks and Trackers are exactly the same. You're thinking of the Samurai
