Default Clutch switch

I noticed today that the clutch switch was by-passed by the prior owner. The reason was b/c one connector from the harness broke but the pins from the switch are ok. I replaced the broken connector and tried to place back the connectors from the blue plug to the clutch switch but is so difficult to do it. How can I remove the switch (to connect the plug again) and place it back to the switch base?

Default that dang switch.

sure

i drove with out a switch from 1964 to 1988 before i saw my first one.
my dad drove from 1940 to 1986 before he first saw a clutch switch.

and
not once did we run over any kids or cats.

but we were sober.

but on my 8 Mbikes it does make sense ( finding neutral can be a problem)

hint:
take out front seat (easy but with air bags please remove battery neg term)
and you have more room.

AIRBAGs , be careful , you did not say year of car.
