BIG DOG is on a distinguished road
Default 2dr VS 4dr

What are the pros and cons of the two door over the four door .I have a 95 2 door I may consider selling it and getting a 98 4 door .I'm going to lift and put on bigger tires on either one I keep .Just wondering what are your thoughts between the two? It's not going to be a strictly off road rig and I will be using it pretty much as a daily driver. I think the 2 doors look really good with a small lift and bigger tires .I haven't really seen too many 4 doors lifted give me some input please!
Please

big is bad off road, the bigger they are the worse they fall.

2dr off road.

4dr on ice at 60mph, long wheel base gives slower swap ends time.best, as you can see, no such thing as dual sport.

but then there are desert races.....

i have a 92 2dr auto, and i also have a 97 4dr sport auto. and for everyday use the 4dr is way better. just take one out for a test drive, and see what you think. i would highly suggest the sport model, it is a huge difference. if you find that you like to take the top off alot, i would say 2dr, if not get a sport with AC. the extra room of the 4dr is really nice.

I would agree. If I had to have a bigger vehicle I would have gotten the 4dr but its only my daily driver to and from work with an occasional passenger so I went with a 2dr.
