Question heater core on 96 sidekick

Just bought a sidekick and need to change heater core. Where is it? and What is the best way(besides hiring a mechanic) to change it?

ya, with a/c its quite nasty, system has to be evaced, entire heater box removed, including the a/c evaporator, big job, i'm guessing that heater cores rarely go on these models, but i guess the odd one does go,

a/c , ouch.
took 2 days on my jeep. 1 day out , 1 day in.

on some cars, dont know in this case.
some enterprising soles found that the heater case can be split
or modifed and the core removed.
some forums I belong show how to do this and then they put an aluminum cover of the hole they made,
personal transportation , of course.

if you learn a trick here , pass it on.
thanks

make darn sure its not the hose leaking or even on some
it leaks in the engine compartment side and then rolls down hill
thru a split firewall grommet.

seen it , it can really make you angry later.......
