Default 98 tracker 4wd

Just purchased this car. I know nothing about 4wd. I see the knob there, I assume that all the way back is 2wd, then 4L, 4H. Now about hubs do they do this automatically? Also what is the switch by the floor shifter do? One more question, what interior parts will work with a 98? I will need some interior work done, seats, door panels, etc. Thanks in advance Lenny

The owners manual is clear concerning 4X4. Please read it and be careful when running in 4WD. In most cases, You can't stop faster with 4WD and on ice it can be tricky.

The knob on the side on the gear selector is to release the shifter from park if it ever gets jammed.
