help choke is stuck open

iv got a vitara 8v 1.6. just bought it and the choke is stuck so that the revs sit at bout 2.5. it dose nt close when the engine gets warm.
can some 1 help me as i dont even know where it is thank

general fast idle (TBI has no chokes) throttle body injection.

for TBI on 8v to idle down, requires events and mechicals to work.
1: engine get fully hot and coolant gage come up to normal?
does upper main radiator hose get fully hot when engine run 15min or more?
2: does Dashpot vacuum diaphram , plunger retract after starting?
you will see a large gap on end of plunger ,not touching butterfly valve if working correctly.
3: does ECU make the checkengine light glow at KEYON, NO START.
and goes OUT after start?

if all these are happening things, then
the Throttle body is gummed up. (throttle plate,or either or both IAC valves)
the other thing is that 8V engines idle real fast and make full power with vacuum leaks

last hot idle is 800 and cold is 1200 and is calibratable, per manual.

forget all the above i you are in europe and really have a carb. you poor person.
