Default Window tilts forward and binds up when rolling up

How do I fix that? Do I need a new regulator or what?

When a passenger rolls down their window, it's fine (nice and smooth). When the go to roll it up, it tilts twords the fount of the truck and binds up. It's bound up too tight to roll up, until you push it twords the back of the truck.

Any ideas what I can do?

Mine do that to. Really annoying but I have other things higher up the priority list to fix first.

I hope someone here has an easy cheap fix (like adjusting something).

Sometimes it the simpliest remedies that cures all. I recently purchased a 1995 Tracker. Both windows operated eratic,,hard to roll-up,,rollin-up of center,,binding, etc. I purchased some silicone spray,,,and operating fine after several applications....

Need to lube the guides with silicone GREASE

I use dielectric silicone grease found at any autoparts
Also this grease is odorless and colorless and will not harm tints or rubber guides

I spray a little Armor All in the guides when they start to tilt, good for a month or so

Are we talking about power windows or manual windows? Or does it not make a difference?

I have the answer, mine did it.
i fixed it.
problem 1 is the clip missing on the (black tab) on the upper forward part of door frame around window missing.
replaced it , mine was missing.

no joy. , what?

then I stood there looking dumb, what the heck is it.
then I just sort of noticed, the door was not square,
so I opened the door and grabbed the top and bottom outside corners and tweeked the door in the direction of square.
BINGO, now rool up is easy, like down.

Tin can is what comes to mind, a really cheezy door,.
Budweiszer recycled metal.

took little force to do it.scarry
