154 dollars and thats using my buddy whos a car dealers discount! I called 30 different places and that was the cheapest! Again THANK YOU for all the help no one here has any idea how to work on these. My friend is a general motors certified mechanic and is extremely good with US vehicles domestic not so much. I'd have to drive nearly 3 hours to get somewhere that knew how to work on this instead I sit in my buddies shop on the internet and saved myself alot of time and money (buddy doesnt charge me anything for labor) thanks to you. Extremely thankfull is what I am I have a 3 year old son who had a heart transplant at the age of 10 months and battled post transplant lymphoma (cancer) and beat it 2 times and I dont have alot of extra money to blow.

gee, unplug TCM, then plug it back, breaking dirt barrier and it works.
then
unplug TPS , and then back, same theory.

this fixed one guys here, just last week, no parts at all.
look at wires and contacts for breaks and contamination.

always eyeball it first.

you did read Page 9 of that manual called 1994 transmission diagnosis.pdf , right. called testing the transmission in manual.
if tranny shift perfect and doesnt slip , tranny is good.
if this is true, then it is an electrical problem.
33 is most likely the bad part.

I could walk you thru testing the TPS, to prove it is in fact bad.
you choice.

Tranny doesnt slip at all it shift good and tight the internal function of my tranny seems great. I feel pretty confident its the TPS and so does my mechanic he said it makes perfect sense because at times it seems as though it is affecting how it runs. He said something about the voltage and pressure messages it sends out can cause the engine to run rough at times as well and it does some and this all happend at the same time. You notice I posted I had a bit of an odd idle problem as well and he said the TPS can cause engine misfires as well.

Thanks for the prayers. My son is doing awesome if you met him you wouldnt know anything had ever happend to him unless you seen his scar down the middle of his chest. Its a blessing from god.

You know anything about samurais? Got a little prob with a bran new weber 34mm carb wants to load up a bit when engine is being worked at low rpms. You think the carb could just be to big for the little engine to burn out the amount of fuel this thing is dumping at low rpms or air fuel screw needs more adjusting?

say a Quite thank you to the nice and very smart engineer at Mitsubish (i think?) who
designed this Automatic.

this tranny is called the A40 series , that will help you find parts, from tranny parts houses.
aka: 03-72LE automatic.
