I checked all my wiring out and found that the connection at the noise suppressor was not making good connection. Fixed that and it started and runs. I still need to get a timing light to set timing ,but everything seems to
be working fine. I did run into something that I need to find out about. I left it run for a while to get everything checked out and I noticed it started smoking White smoke when I throttled it up. I left it run for a while longer and it seemed to quit. I have good compression to all cylinders, so I don,t think it is a head gasket . Could it be the water hoses or valve on intake manifold that route to air intake. Getting closer.

( good find on supressor, just so happens my ECU test jig has the same problem last week) i had to make a circuit that acts like a coil. ( i get spark as long as i am cranking , so i added a tiny inductor an my bench engine runs.....)

smoke lingers but if its seems ,to go away instantly , its steam (i sure you know it but others...)

sure its not just burning some oil drips off exhaust.?
run , then check for smoke.
common leak, is valve gasket, and Dizzy housing to head junction o-ring. (cracks and leaks like a sun of a gun)

if it is real trottle up smoke, put in new intake valve seals will help.
can be done Head on , with air compressor and gutted sparkplug adaptor.
go down hill, have someone follow and look, then using engine compression to slow down. if you see lots of smoke during but not before, then valve seals.

great , the FrankenKick is Alive and Kicking !!!
smash beer mugs.

Sorry ; I have been gone for a while. I did a little more looking into my white smoke issue. It deffinitely is white smoke coming out of the tailpipe. No oil leak or anything. Not sure where to start troubleshooting this problem. Is there anything other than a head gasket to look at. I see there is water lines routed through a tube at air intake. Can this be leaking where it mounts to the intake manifold. I have had the motor running for an hour or more and it still has white vapor coming from exhaust. It even shows water drips coming out of the tailpipe after that amount of time.I bought this motor used and was told it was rebuilt. I have no way of confirming this though.

compression test is in order, and maybe a coolant pressure test too.

i suspect white is steam and it does it full hot.?
does oil look contaminated? not like chocolate was thrown in. milky stripes in it.
does the rad fluild look oil streaked.

really, any used motor needs a compression test and the make sure the coolant loop
holds pressure. could be many things wrong in there besides a simple bad head gasket.
cracked head, block, anything.

water after 1 hour or more out tail is bad news.
id do the test, if one fails you have facts to do some complaining to your source.

I wish you can fix it cheap....

cheers

PS:
