Default Passenger side High Beam Not Working

I have a 95 Geo Tracker. The passenger side high beam does not work regardless of what position the light switch is in i.e., on or flashing.

I measured the voltage and while the driver side measures 12V, the passenger side measures .3V when the high beam switch, hand lever is turned on. The lamp harness is fine, because I striped the wire and it measured .3V at the exposed wire.

Any suggestions on where to look? If so, please describe where I might find and other devices on the car to check. I do not have a manual. I cannot pass inspection until I resolve this problem.

On another note. If I cannot locate the problem, is it possible to join the non working high beam into the working high beam? By that I mean, if i were to strip the high beam wires and tied the non working wire into the working wire would that work or blow a fuse. Can both high beams be fed from the same wire?

Did you check your bulb? It may need replacing.

Default High Beam

Of course I checked the bulb. I replaced it with a new one and then also swapped it with the driver side bulb that was working and nothing. That was the first thing I did but won't the .3V measured have already told you that it could not be the bulb?

Hey Moondoggy, please don't take this wrong, but you can't expect much help here with an attitude like your last post seems to show, whether intended or not. Tracka96

moondoggy, ok, check on your fuse box. Maybe you have the hi beam fuse blown making only one beam to bright.
