tuneup this weekend need parts

Hi My friend is going to tuneup my 1992 tracker this weekend. It is 1.6L 8v.
I have Advance Auto parts store in town. I am going to buy the parts for him. I want good quality parts so what brands should I buy? I was planning on plugs, dist cap and rotor, plug wires, coil and coil wire, pvc valve, belts ( he will check timing belt) fuel filter, air filter. Do they have points? Am I over looking anything? top names bosch, NGK , ignition.
Gates belts
PureONe filter is the best , so is wix, and NAPAs best (wix clone)

no points it has electronic Hall mag sensor. (in base of DIZZY)

major tune up is with belts ,
super major , all hoses and brake pads/shoes.

your engine is free running so of belt snaps , its only walk home.
no crying over $2000 loss.

truth is, if you change often all would work, but few people do.
