Any pertinent information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Default 1992 Suzuki Side Kick JX 1.6 16 Valve Engine

Hi All!

It's been a While, I still have the Beast. Did the Rear and still have the Front and Oil Pan Gasket yet to do, been checking it frequently.

I have a New Issue I'm hoping someone can help me find the answer to, I have a New Holland Skid Steer Loader that the Control Panel Board needs to be worked over or tested and refurbished. A New Board is almost 700 dollars, so I'm hoping someone can help me with this Issue. It won't stay running, and if the board is replaced it stays running, I had a Loaner Board for testing it, so know that is the Issue. It reminds me alot of the Computer for the Side Kick, am hoping you guys can Steer me in the right direction on this one.

Hi, Victoria. Kick-fix highly recommends the services of David Ruberg Technical Services for ECU repairs. Maybe they could take a look at your board.

Hi Victoria and welcome back( yes i changed my handle ,and i retired, no more midnights.)
4 ways.
1: look for damage ,correct it and pray.
2: buy new or refurb, board.
3: have tech fix it , in circuit ( using the real thing connected so he can see what is going on)
4: send your board in to maker and have them fix it.

if you had a schematic of the card, that would allow any tech to fix it.

cheers.

PS , the post was long because she had many veh problems and they clashed. ( she worked very hard to solve them)

Thumbs up 1992 Suzuki Side Kick JX 1.6 16 Valve Engine

Hi Jerry,

I'll look for a Schematic, if I find that can you take a look at it? You definately did a good job on my Side Kick Computer when you had it.

They guy that took it off said there was green on part of the board at one side toward the bottom, and my husband had removed the door from it a long time ago, so possibly water damage to that one area could have contributed to this.

I have a Manual for it, I'll locate that and see if there is anything in it, figure that is going to be the first place to start.

So far I've found the Operators Manual with a Trouble Shooting Section that has Fold Out Wiring Diagrams, the actual piece is called an Electronic Instrument Cluster. I'm trying to corelate the Wiring Diagrams with the EIC to see if that is it. Plus I'm doing searches for the EIC.

Default 1992 Suzuki Side Kick JX 1.6 16 Valve Engine

Hi Guys,

I called New Holland in Canada and they had me contact someone about 50 miles away that said they would send me a copy of what they have, don't know yet if that is what I already have in this Operators Manual or not yet, its supposed to be in the Mail, so will know more when I get it.

I did do a google search for New Holland Electronic Repair and found a few pages that came up, one was from someone named Farmtronics, so think I'm going to try and call that tomorrow to see if I can find out anything promising. From the first page of the search I did it looked like a good one to start with. In one of their pictures on their site, the board looks alot like what was in their picture. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I still have a Seal Kit to get for the Hydraulics pump and hope that is all it needs with that repair and not the pump being totally rebuilt. Locally here Muskingum Tractor priced the pump seal kit to me for 500, the place in Columbus 50 miles away priced the same pump kit for 70 some dollars and said there is only the one pump. So I'm finding quite a varience in pricing.
