what does the 'special tool' for valve adjustments look like?

I've got my service manual and I'm reading about the valve adjustments and it mentions you need a special tool to actually adjust them. Anyone have a picture of the tool or the specs? I'm wondering if I can make one by modifying a non-special tool.

'98 1.6L 16v. I probably should have put that in my post considering the number of engine combos in the manual...
