TeamSwift :: Garage

This is a good baseline. With nitrous it was dangerously lean so hopefully after I get a wideband O2 sensor and my megasquirt working I can dump some more fuel on it and make around 135HP and 150lbs/ft of torque with a 50 shot of nitrous.

where are you getting the wideband O2? I can't seem to find one, and you are like the god of knowing where parts for the 4 dr JX 16v are. Also do you know of a nice cam for our engine that works with the stock lifters and decently priced?

Im not sure what wideband Im going to get but it will probably be a Innovate LC-1 eBay.ca: Innovate LC-1 Wideband Lambda Cable w/ O2 sensor NEW! (item 160170310677 end time 25-Oct-07 15:06:58 EDT) Its cheap and my megasquirt is already calibrated for it. As far as I know no one makes a new performance cam but 3tech 3 Tech Performance will regrind yours to what ever specs, a turbo grind costs $250.

You wont be bending any rods or snaping the hollow crankshaft with even the most extreme camshaft. The rods are good for about 200HP and the crank is good for about 300HP. Just so you know the Honda D16a crank will fit in the G16 bottom end with some minor block machining and it is forged and should be good for over 400HP. The honda crank has its own girdle and the stock oil pan wont fit over them. This is what I plan on doing on my other engine im building.
