Unhappy First Prolbem

Ok, The clyuch in my Tracker is new, since I started driving it the past 3 days its gotten harder to press & lower to the floor, its become very hard to get the truck in gear at a standstill, reverse grinds, Thought it needs hydralic fluid or there was air in the line, but i've come to reliaze that its not hydralic. I'm thinking it needs an adjustment, where exactly is the clutch adjustment & how is it done?
pics would be nice if possible.

Harder to depress isn't an adjustment problem. Slave cylinder or fork / release bearing issues are present that need sorting out.

Concur...take it back to whom ever installed the new clutch.

He installed the clutch himself, backyard mechanic type of guy, has a nice multi car garage & tools,

UPDATE, I can not get it into any of the gears with out forcing it, dont wanna mess with it too much.
It was always hard to push in, even when I test drove it b4 he put the new cluthc in, there is more travel in the pedal now, & it was almost to the floor b4 it would grab.

The seller said it may require an adjustment when I bought it, Ive only driven it 140 miles so far
How do you adjust the clutch cable?

Tommy! You said hydraulics in your 1st post, cable in the last one.

If it's a cable, hard to push in and way out of adjustment...replace it. It's about ready to snap. When you go through the process of removing it, you'll be able to see the adjustment feature as well.

Sorry to confuse bro, The cable is like brand new I can see it on the bottom right hand side of the motor, its shiny & new. What does the adjustment look like?is like on the trans it self? closer to the motor? in the middle?

Max Tracker Tommy said in his first post that he thought it was hydralic but then reilazed that its not. While I dont think it a ajustmant issue either, there are too stages of ajustment but all the ajusting take place on the right side of transmission on the throw out lever, if you follow the cable it will lead you right to it. To ajust it in small incriments hold the cable from spinning with vice grips or something and use a wench to loosen or tighten the nut on the end of the cable. If you need to ajust more you have to take off the lever from its throwout shaft and position it on a new cog making sure the clamp that holds it tight it on the top as it will fall to the bottom when its off.

If the cable is rusted becarefull the threaded part on the end of the cable is easy break.

My apologies. I see it now, and thanks for pointing that out.
