I was told that to check error codes on my 91 Geo Tracker I needed to simply go under the hood insert a jumper wire in the diagnostics check point terminal and jump the top right pin with the bottom left pin. I did this got back in turned on my ignition, and nothing. CEL light stays on and does nothing. Can anybody help..... what am i doing wrong???????
