Default Just Purchased a 91' Tracker

Ok, So I finally got me a white Tracker, 5spd 4WD Soft top 140k on the clock.
I bought it from a back yard mechanic, he never washed it, but he put many new parts on, Tires, clutch timing belt ECM new AC compressor, although it has a leaking O ring that needs ti be replaced & charged.

It handles Nice, the clutch is brand new so its breaking in, no whines or clanking noises from the trans. the motor sounds good, no ticks taps or hesitaions, its starts up strong & idles fine when cold, the steering is tight, haven't checked the 4WD yet.

It does needs shocks BADLY, Im going to change those soon, It needs a grille, Have to buy one on E-bay. Im not really looking to go nuts with it, just clean it up, there is very little rust that I can see, but the paint does not appear shiny, The interior & top are flithly, but there are no rips or tears, all the vents are broken, thats going to drive me nuts, so
I need t find new ones, anyone have a sugguestion please let me know.

Also, The previous owner said he never took the top down, I havent tried yet, any suggestions?

Thats all for now. I will post pics evantually. more to come

Tok it to the car wash today, had thw works done, waxed up decently, its gonna take another good cleaning or two to get it right, when I ot home I took the top off & I spent the next 45 minutes or so spraying all the tracks & hardware down with simple green, it looked so sweet with the top diwn & it was a beautifull day too, so It was very enjoyable, I need rear shocks badly, bouncing all over the place, tested the 4WD, no prolbems there.

More to Come!
