Cool 1993 sidekick missing out

this car had a miss just before I bought it. Another person had pushed the tip of a screwdriver into the electrical wiring on no#1 fuel injector which caused the car to clear up and run good. It ran good for a few months then started missing really bad again. Currently has no power. What steps should I take to remedy the problem

Check engine lamp CEL , is it Glowing ,while running?
if yes pull code, and ask us. how or whatever.

Your engine shakes like mad too ,huh? 3 cycl engine you have right.?

Pull the connections on the injectors and examine the contacts and the wires for any damage !
Wiggling any wire to make something work is not a FIX.
its a symptom and needs to be corrected ASAP.
YOu are lucky to even have a clue like that. Its a blessing.

Is your car TUNED up , or over 50k since last full tune up.
including new Timing belt.?
plugs,wires, rotor ,can cap.

Question sidekick missing out

I checked, no cel comes on while car is running. I pulled wires from the coil one by one and noticed there was no difference how the car idled when I pulled the plug wire going to the 3rd cylinder from the front. Right or wrong, I have taken the top of the intake apart and removed the injectors. I noticed that #3 injector is the only one that didn't look wet from fuel.

At this point I believe it is either the electrical connection to the fuel injector or the injector itself.

1.) Is there a way to test the injectors while they are out of the car to see if they are working or not?

2.) To test the wire leading to the injector, I need to know if the car has to be turning over or just having the key on will send electrical current through the wire in order to check it.

noid lamp on injecter will test signal during cranking.
there is a fine screen inside injector that clogs.

very difficult to presure test injector yourself.

id check signal then send in injector for cleaning.
check the coil for low resistance on injector too , first !

here is my NOID lamp
