Default yes another TCC question. install help

umm.... took it out and can't remember which tube goes into which hole.

so when it is bolted into the trans which hole has long tube and which hole has the short tube.

I put it in but one of the tubes (the short one) just won't seat in the solenoid right. Its out about a 1/4 inch. I have the short one in the top hole and the long one in the bottom. is it ok not to be seated 100%? When I put the tube all the way in, I can't bolt the solenoid in. The holes wont line up.

also the long tube without the solenoid installed is really loose. Is it supposed to be seated up in the trans somwhere? or does it just vent fluid back into the trans?

thanks BTW 91 tacker 4WD 3spd auto

When I done mine, I had similar trouble. I don't remember the details exactly, but there were "O" rings on the ends of some of the tubes, maybe on all ends, but I don't think so. I did get new "O" rings at AZ and put them on somewhere tho. It wound up working for me, sorry I can't be more exact, Tracka 96

Short tube is on the bottom, long tube is on the top. The long tube goes to the oil pump and the short tube goes into the valve body.
