I bit the bullet and ordered from Suzuki today. I'm just tired of all the hassle. By the time I get it in 7 days it will cost about $400.00
Then all I have to do is install it and if the light is out then I should be done.

i got good news.
the gas you will save will be 417 gallons in one year.
That's $1200.00 US dollars.
10mpg gain, $3 a gallon , drive 15k Miles a year.

that is the money you save by fixing the OXY sensor.
Limp home mode eats tons of gas, is the reason.

make sure he parts dealerr knows exactly what car you have.
you can not believe how many manifolds they make for these cars world wide.
If the world had unified smog regs cars would be very cheap!

it may up your re-sale value now that car is still stock.
many people walk , soon as they see obvious mods.

good luck and tell us if you need any help.

Thanks Jerry, I'll definitely keep you informed. It will be 7 more days till I get the manifold as it is coming from Toronto by ground. In the mean time I'll probably have a few questions.

Somehow I don't think the shields come with it but considering the price they are charging they just might. I got a call from them this morning and the part is in Vancouver already so I should have it by tomorrow. Won't get a chance to change it out till next tues. as we are going out of town for the weekend. Will the computer reset itself regarding fuel mixture once the problem is rectified or do I have to do something?

pull battery count to 30 ,put back , all is forgotten.
dont forget to say Potatoe between , heheheh
not true ! for 96 + , for others reading this.

Exhaust systems are never fun to work with.
having new parts , cures that.

I have a TIG so I cheat alot.
and an air , tubing cutter that cuts tubing like butter.
when I die, will have every tool there is, and whole sea of starving mechanics babies. <Hah!

wait till you see what the car can do when running correct. upto 30mpg and lots of room, what a match.
I have no back seat , so it is even bigger.

Thanks, that puts my mind to rest. I too have a TIG plus everything else that goes with a general machine shop. I had my own shop in the Vancouver area and last year decided to sort of semi-retire so sold the house , packed up my shop and wife and moved 7 hours north. Bought a piece of property with a shop building on it and now am starting all over again only ata much slower pace. I do a lot of specialty stuff like the bumpers on my Samurai, Hotrod stuff etc.
