Default Convertible top parts

Well, my tracker came with a hard top(busted, broken, warped one that was trash). So I've been converting it to a soft top. Apparently it's not plug-n-play . I've had to drill some holes, and all that good stuff to mount some of the parts. Now, does anyone have a good high-res picture of all the mounting hardware that is required? I feel like i'm missing something, or somethings. Also, does anyone have instructions on the factory process of taking the top down and putting it back up? Thanks in advance! And this lil sucker is a blast to drive with the top off

It's a 96, and it's using a 96 top, non-removable side windows.

They changed the top design for 95 (mine has removeable side windows). Sounds like you're using the wrong top.

I could very well be using the wrong top, I got it off of craigslist . The parts I seem to be missing are the clips that hold the window frame piece to the side of the truck, and something on the rear door that holds the rear window at the bottom.

On the pre 95 roof, there are no clips to hold in the side windows, that frame piece is screwed in at the top and back and swings out at the other corner and is just held in place by a strap. As for the back window, my 89 just had a couple of hooks that grabbed the bar on the bottom of the window. Although, I must admit, those hooks had the look of being home-made so I can't honestly say they are OEM parts.

on my 96 the side windows ziped out and had a long plastic lip on it. on my 89 the sidewindows do not zip out and have a velcro flap on the side windows
