Default 94 Geo Tracker (4WD) oil leak

I am getting a leak from the front of my oil pan. There is a hole there that the oil is leaking from and I can't figure out what it is for. I have searched online looking at oilpans for a 94 Tracker and none of them seem to have this hole that I can see. I took a picture of it which is attached. You can see that the oilpan gasket partially covers the hole. Can anyone tell me what this hole is for or if this is even the right oilpan for this model?

Looks like the spot where the crank sensor is mounted on my 98, any chance your oil pan is from another vehicle??

I think you're right. I looked online at an oilpan from a 98 and it looks like the one that is on my 94. I bought the Tracker last year from someone who bought it at auction so I don't know the history. I guess the next step is to figure out if anything else is from a different model so that if I do get an oilpan for a 94, I would be sure that it would fit.

I think you could still use the pan you have you just have to drop it and seal it real well with silicon gasket maker.

Or even don't drop it, clean it really really good and seal it up with JB weld, easy to try and if it fails you're not out anything. Tracka

no such hole on my 94 sidekick 4dr with the 16v engine, you may have the wrong pan IMO
