Default Replacing the shift knob

I have a '93 geo tracker manual. I have been thinking about replacing the shift knob and maybe the shift boot. Anyone here done it already? And what is the easiest way? Thanks for the help

The knob will unscrew right off the lever and the boot will pop right up if you pull. You can remove the center console and lift it out; replace the boot and then the console.

Should take under 10 minutes...
