Default Out of the shop...finally!!!!

After 3 weeks of anticipation my 97 Sidekick (4 dr) is fixed. A new belt and an ignition coil. But my post is for a question I have concerning the idle. Why does the RPM drop to like 300 when I come to a stop? It's always did this and I forgot to have the mechanic check it. Sometimes when it's idling low the car shakes a little. Is this something I can fix?

I'm surprised it will continue to run when it drops to 300 RPM. Shconer, could something be wrong with the tach as well as a IAC adjustment?

Good luck jakehorror

yeah, I had the same IAC problem on my first Zuki, also a '97 but with the 1.6L engine, jake has the 1.8L if I'm not mistaken.
