How do I do it? The little ingrate threw me a SES just as I was driving hope from picking up a hardtop for it in view of next winter!
AARG!
it however still runs just fine so it's probably something silly.
O2 sensor is brand new from two weeks ago when I got it, it had a SES when I test drove it and they changed the O2 and that fixed the SES.
I pulled the air filter and it was gross and will have to be changed. When I unplugged the MAF and the other airbox sensor, the engine started bucking and stalling so those aren't it.
I found this;
Suzuki Engine trouble codes, how to get them, what they mean
And I'll try getting the scan tool, maybe rent it if I can.

OK, so I was driving it around and I thought the engine sounded unusual. This '98 made a weird wwoooonnngg sound when revving it up since I got it, everything runs smooth, plenty of power and no shake or anything, it just makes this weird wooong sound like an inline 6 cylinder motor would make.
Anyways, the wooonng sound was GONE! It sounded just like my first Zuki, same model but a '97 so same engine and spec.
I drove back home, and parked, I decided to go ahead and disco the battery and see if it would clear the SES.
So I disco the battery, check the oil (it's fine, less than 2000kms on it and full, nice and clear too), pulled a spark plug, looks new so I measure the gap and it's spec (.029) so I put that back.
Removed the MAF sensor, cleaned it, put it back, removed the fuel tank cap, it felt loose. Put it back, tightened it over 8-9 clicks.
Plugged the battery back up, fired up the engine and voila, no more SES.
So it occurred to me, I had a '92 Saturn, the only NEW car I ever bought and the only problem I ever had with it was the fuel tank cap.
I had to change it twice under warranty then another time on my own dime (30$+!!) because it got "tired" and was setting off my SES.
I think that's it.
I filled up with gas and when the fuel level drops under 1/4 if the SES comes back, i'll know...
