Default Sidekick Cuts off When Stopping

Hello all! I have a 1998 Suzki Sidekick. I have not had any problems with it until recently. I am a total idiot when it comes to foreign cars. What happens is it runs fine until you stop at a redlight and then the car wants to cut off. Or maybe when it below 1 RPM.

When it I scan the car it has come up with many codes. At first it said it was the 02 sensor, then it was the RPM, but it sounds to me like it may be in the fuel injection.

Has anybody else has this problem?

Thanks

It could be the IAC valve. Search the forum as it has been covered extensively.

Get used to it. I've had terrible "luck" with my Sidekick. 2 months of shear hell...and walking alot. Maybe I just got the lemon.

Please, let me explain my prior post.
I am sure the Suzuki Sidekick can be a long lasting, reliable, friendly vehicle, however I was not as fortunate. I don't think ALL of them are bad, I think the previous owner did NOT take proper care of the engine. She acted strange when I bought it and she sold it to me for 1500. under KBB Value. Something told me not to buy it, but my wife and I were excited and jumped into it, me, totally ignoring the gut feeling. So I apologize if I gave you a bad impression. I also need to add I had a 1992 Tracker for 4 years and never had one problem. That and the Taurus were the best two cars I've ever owned.
So it's not all bad. Sorry for taking the focus off of what you originally posted for. Good Luck with your purchase, most of these cars last a long time. (I just got a bit of bad luck)
