Default New $125 summer project!

This is the new project for this summer. Not bad for only $125. Great body, almost no rust, and what rust there is is only surface rust. The engine is good, but the 4WD trans is blown and is being replaced. The transfer case is fine though. I started the project today by removing the tranny shift and transfer case levers and such. The interior is pretty messed up for now but I can scrounge some new int parts. Ill try to keep it updated as I go because I have never replaced a tranny and don't have any help, but it looks very straightforward. Thanks for looking,
Anders

P.S. I am trying to sell another sidekick, a red 2WD 16 valve 4door in this album for $600 OBO, It wont move into gear when running, and I would rather just worry about the new project. Engine has a rebuilt cyl head, have all maintinence records from brand new I believe. Every oil change and stuff. Runs/Starts well just doesnt move. I checked the cable and it was loose, I tightened it but still nothing. There was no slippage before it stopped working. It was an all of a sudden problem in stop n go traffic. Car is located in Cincy,Ohio. PICS HERE!!!!!!:

Dang! Looks like you have your hands full with the interior. Make sure there is no more critters living in there. haha
Tranny swap/piece of cake. Good luck

Looks pretty good!

Let me know what you might need for the interior. I have quite a few interior trim parts available from my donor rig.

Oh, and nascar is right - tranny swap IS a piece of cake.

Good luck!
