Default Servicing manual hubs

Heres the deal. A friend gave me a set of manual hubs that he had replaced on his kick because he got tired of carrering a set of plyers in his pocket. The Iowa winters have realy taken their toll on them. (plus he thought he lost my obo 2 scanner and felt guilty, WAS FOUND!!) Anyway I'm going to clean them up and keep them as spares. Any interest in me taking pictures and posting the parts and process?

I have auto hubs on my kick, but never know? might want to go with the manuals. Don't know it they are originals,? only mark I can find on them other then the free or lock is made in USA, so I don't think they'r original! Let me know if any interest?

Yes, please do, I'll have to service mine this summer, the right side one needs plyers to move when it's under -5C or so.

Tough CANADIAN winters here...

Hoo baby thats cold. You might want to try liquid graphite to squirt on and around your hub locks. It does not freeze like everything else does. Hope this will help keep your pliers in the tool box.

I can attest to the liquid graphite. Works like a charm. Have had to use it a few times here when it has been below zero.

Liquid Graphite is the black spray can or is it in a tube?

I have a graphite lube spray can, it's advertized as being designed for high heat considitions but it leaks and stains like a ...

I was thinking Lithium grease.
