Default dimmer switch not working

My dimmer switch stop working. Is there any way to jump the cables to at least have the cluster lighted up until I resolve the problem?

man that was an easy part to remove..took all of about 1 minute. does your switch have three wires and is about a 1" wide by 1" tall and 2" long ?

Yes, it is. I tested the plug and 2 identical plugs are positive and the other plug is negative The dimmer was damaged before my hands were there. Then I noticed someone else tricked it out to make it work again.

is like this one.
